Job description

As a Mechanical Engineer with a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and experience in design using Pro/Engineer (now known as Creo), your job description would typically involve a specialized focus on designing mechanical systems and components.

Must Have ;-

MS in Mechanical Engineering with GPA ~3.3

Design experience (PROE)

Here is a job description that highlights design experience with Pro/Engineer:

Mechanical Design: You will be responsible for creating, modifying, and optimizing mechanical designs using Pro/Engineer (Creo) software. This may include developing 3D models, creating assemblies, performing simulations and analyses, and creating detailed engineering drawings for manufacturing.

CAD Modeling and Simulation: You will utilize Pro/Engineer (Creo) to create complex 3D models and assemblies of mechanical components and systems. You may also perform simulations and analyses using Pro/Engineer (Creo) to evaluate the performance, durability, and safety of mechanical designs.

Product Development: You may be involved in the entire product development process, from concept ideation to detailed design, prototyping, and testing. This could include working closely with cross-functional teams such as product managers, industrial designers, and manufacturing engineers to develop innovative and cost-effective mechanical designs.

Design Optimization: You will utilize Pro/Engineer (Creo) to optimize mechanical designs for performance, weight, manufacturability, and cost. This may involve conducting design iterations, performing design reviews, and implementing design changes to meet project requirements and customer specifications.

Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA): You will ensure that mechanical designs are optimized for efficient manufacturing and assembly processes. This may involve collaborating with manufacturing engineers to incorporate DFM and DFA principles into the design, such as designing parts for manufacturability, specifying tolerances, and selecting appropriate materials and manufacturing methods.

Documentation and Technical Drawings: You will create detailed engineering drawings and documentation using Pro/Engineer (Creo) software, including part drawings, assembly drawings, and bill of materials (BOM) for manufacturing. You will also maintain proper documentation control and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Collaboration and Communication: You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers to gather requirements, provide design input, and incorporate feedback into the design process. You will also communicate technical information effectively through reports, presentations, and other means to stakeholders.

Continuous Learning: You will stay updated with the latest advancements in Pro/Engineer (Creo) and other relevant technologies, and continuously improve your design skills through training, professional development, and staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
